Having been a teacher for over twenty years, I’m used to germs. Seriously, when schools are at their lowest ebb, when exam results are worse than useless and when behaviour management’s gone out of the window, you can always rely on them to boost the immune system.

But I’m out of that little loop now, and for the second winter in a row I’ve had a succession of colds, some lasting weeks as well as the seasonal lethargy that seems to affect everybody. So I’m keen to try something that promises to ‘optimise immune system function’ and ‘help maintain mental alertness and sustain concentration’.

What was I saying?

Yes, well. The Bio-Strath arrived the other day; I’ve started taking it before meals as prescribed. It says it may take 3-4 weeks for the benefits to become apparent.
